My mother was extremely thrilled when the Foreman indoor grill first came out. She ventured directly to the store to get for her house. I do not remember exactly when she purchased it, but I remember she showed it to me when I would come to see her every once in a while. She wanted to grill dinner for me right away using the new grill, and I do not think I have seen her that excited by a bbq grill since we first purchased our old charcoal unit when I was a kid.

She cooked me a filet on her foreman grill that evening. She realized that was a test for me since I love steak, but it needed to be made just right. Though it wasn’t quite as tasty as what you would get on an outdoor barbecue grill, I had to admit it was pretty good. Once the George Foreman indoor grill reached the right temperature, it did not take long for it to cook the meat the way I enjoy it.

I got a Foreman grill for my house that year, and I had it for a long time. I do not have it any more because I dropped it and the lid cracked. I would like to find the original Foreman electric grill again because I know it was of quality workmanship and it would take more than normal use to break it.

You can find numerous variations of Foreman grills, but attempt to be sure it’s an original. You can also find different models, and they do work on the same basic principle. Some have bun warmers on them, and you can find bigger ones that can cook entire meals. If you have a large family in your house, you should opt for the bigger one so you can grill up everything at once.
